Doubletree By Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel, Brighton

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the location is excellent, right by the beach, and the staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. However, the dining experience on Christmas Day was disappointing, with poor service and a subpar meal. The room was smaller than expected and lacked some necessary comforts, which detracted from my overall enjoyment.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. While the refurbishment is a welcome change and the beds were quite comfortable, I faced issues with housekeeping that prevented me from fully enjoying my experience. The breakfast was good, but there were some service hiccups that affected my overall impression. Overall, it’s a decent place but may not meet your expectations if you're used to higher standards.
